The island is only reachable by boat, and Perast is the closest jetty.

Perast is about 12 km from Kotor along the bay. Local buses, taxis and tours cover the route; the drive takes around 20 to 25 minutes.

Boatmen wait along the Perast waterfront and take passengers across in a few minutes, waiting while you visit, then bringing you back.

A boat tour from Kotor is easier if you want to add the Blue Cave or other bay sights. For the island alone, the Perast shuttle is simple.
